Kichler Lighting had not participated at KBIS in several years. Upon re-entering with a 2,000 sq. ft. brand new booth, 200 functioning lighting products and ceiling fans were displayed so attendees could directly interact with the products. I planned and created the merchandising, generated solutions when related cost or structure questions arose, and coordinated with the tradeshow booth design vendor.
Kichler won the Best Booth Award at the show in the medium size booth category. Results included a media pickup from booth tours of 227 articles and 69.1M+ potential audience Highly engaging content across social media included Instagram 500+ followers and 12% avg. engagement rate, and on LinkedIn, Best Booth win post drove 73.7% engagement rate with a 66.8% click thru rate.
Additionally, I art directed a brochure for the show that focused specifically on bath inspirations for interior designers, builders and consumers. This was a complex project due to creating content that was inspirational as well as educational; and fitting in an appealing piece with a small page count. I partnered with a copywriter on the project and consulted marketing and digital team members. In addition, I created a digital version of the brochure that had many interactive elements, video, light effect animations, and links to products, articles, blogs, and additional content on Kichler's website.
